Where it Started....
Jason Roller opened up MagicShack Productions in 2006 in Murfreesboro, TN. Over time, Jason has grown MagicShack and it now sits in Nolensville, TN, just off I-24 and Waldron Rd for easy access to Nashville. Jason started MagicShack as a way to quickly and easily fulfill client requests for overdubs but it has now grown into a full service studio where he does everything from overdubs to full scale production on EPs and Albums.
Jason started playing music at just 4 years old. Fiddle was his first instrument and he taught himself guitar at 12. Jason plays guitar, fiddle, mandolin, ganjo. Jason got his first job as a touring musician at age 16 with Ken Mellons and has gone on to tour with many of your favorite country artists including: Joe Diffie, Mark Chestnutt, Tracy Lawrence, Gretchen Wilson, John Berry, Daryl Worley, Dolly Parton, Kellie Pickler and Wynonna. Jason also had the pleasure of touring with Rock 'n Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason. For the last 5 years, Jason has been touring with the legendary country band Alabama. Jason has also played on countless records including Alice Cooper, Alabama, Joe Diffie, Deep Purple, Casting Crowns, Jerry Salley, Kristi Cox, Billy Droze, The Lost Trailers, The Henningsens, Lynn Anderson, Kristen Chenoweth, and Dave Mason.

Why I do what I do
That's easy...because I love music. And I can't imagine what I would do if I didn't have an instrument in my hands! And owning MagicShack Productions allows me to take your songs and turn them into something special and there is nothing better than the reaction I get from clients once they get their tracks back. I also get to make music every day with my wife and some of my very best friends and who can ask for more than that?!
